Format: We will go around the tables and each introduce ourselves and ask our guest speakers an international, national, or state question relating to Congress. Both speakers will answer same question. Please prepare questions in advance.

1st U.S. House District Candidate Cori Bush – The 1st House District includes all of St. Louis City and most of North St. Louis County.

2nd U.S. House District Candidate Mark Osmack – The 2nd U.S. House District includes parts of St. Louis County, Jefferson County, and St. Charles County.

We’re again collecting food for Lafayette Park United Methodist Church’s Brown Bag Meals Program for our unhoused neighbors. Items being collected- individual serving packages of crackers & tuna, crackers & peanut butter, fruit cups, fruit drinks, raisins, applesauce, cookies.

Join the Left Leaning Community 6:30-9 pm Monday, February 26th for Drinking Liberally St. Louis Chapter’s February Happy Hour with Special Guest Sarah Kendzior , writer/analyst on politics, media, and economy, authority on authoritarian states at Nadine’s Gin Joint, 1931 S 12th in Soulard.

Sunday Drinking Liberally Happy Hr

Join the Left-Leaning Community 1-4:30 pm Sunday, November 19, for Drinking Liberally Happy Hour at Nadine’s on the tented patio, 1931 S 12th. RSVP mtceselski@aol.com.

We’ll be having conversations with Alderwoman Megan Green on the Audit St. Louis petition; St. Louis Public Schools President Susan Jones about returning governance of our public schools to our elected school board; and Maureen McMillan will update us on historic tax credits and then we will also discuss this week’s action by Governor Grietens against low income housing tax credits.

We’ll also play Rex Bingo.

We are collecting for the Lafayette Park UMC Brown Bag Meal Program for homeless people: Peanut Butter & Cracker Packages, Tuna & Cracker Packages, Chicken & Cracker Packages, Individual Serving Raisin Boxes.
